Three years ago, when my husband and I decided to buy our first home, we had the choice of many friends who are Real Estate Agents to represent us. After reviewing the pros and cons of all, we decided to ask Star Moore to be our agent. I have known Star for over ten years, on both professional and personal levels. I knew her integrity and perseverance would help us, especially when our enthusiasm lagged. When showing us homes, her knowledge of the houses and the housing market was beneficial and much appreciated.
When we put an offer in on a house, Star was thorough and very patient in explaining every form to us, and waited to make sure we understood the intent of the documents we were signing. The first home we wanted was a short-sale that had not gone through bank processing yet. Star was a tenacious advocate to move the process along as speedily as possible. Unfortunately, that sale did not come to fruition and we had to start the looking process all over again.
We did finally purchase our new home in November of 2009. It was a house that Star found for us, and it is everything we wanted. I know that Star listened to all our little comments of likes and dislikes to help weed out houses that would not work for us, as opposed to showing us anything and everything.
Star definitely took a personal interest in our search, and it was her reassurance that helped us make a commitment to home ownership. We would probably still be half-heartedly looking if it weren’t for her. We would wholeheartedly recommend Star to anyone searching for a new home.
